We had to delay this cruise a couple of times due to weather but we finally hit a good weekend. The weather was good if a little hot.

As you can see, quite a few of the girls went on the cruise. It's always nice when families participate together in our activities.
After an uneventful ride to the Glenn Ferris Inn we blasted up Gauley Mountain to the Hawks Nest overlook. While we were there we had a little meeting and decided to go to Firecreek Barbque and Steaks in Fayetteville for lunch. Bill Michael was leading the way and he couldn't find Firecreek so we just went on to Pies and Pints in Fayetteville. We were well received and had great service and great food.
After lunch we all went our own way home.
Everyone is looking forward to our next event. We'll talk about it Saturday the 7th. at our monthly meeting but Mark and Connie White have mentioned an Elk River cruise that sounds very good.
