Welcome by Bill Michael
Bill Michael presented the treasury report stating we have approximately $2,600 in the bank.
Richard Stephenson presented information about our March 16 cruise to the Ripley Yacht Club for lunch and a visit to the Mountaineer Distillery. Trip also includes a drive to the Cedar Lakes Conference Center covered bridge for a photo opportunity. If the ground is dry, we can pull around to the back side for a better photo. The plan, for those that live down that way, is to meet at the Crooked Creek Park & Ride at 10:00 a.m.
Barry McCoy presented information about a Hagerty Car Club. Approximately $45/Year gets you a magazine, rollback wrecker service, discounts, etc.
The Valentine’s dinner was a huge success. Thanks to Ken Rubin for organizing and to Cindra Justice for picking out the door prizes. Bill will try to arrange a buffet and larger space for next year - and perhaps not do it exactly on the holiday.
When nicer weather arrives, Mark White will arrange a drive to Pizzas and Cream in Nebo, WV.
Charles Justice presented information and handouts about the April 12 trip to Dobson North Carolina for the British Car Show presented by the Triumph Car Club of the Carolinas. The handouts detailed the itinerary and information about the show itself. For those wishing to take the leisurely route, we will depart from Daniel Boone Park in Charleston at 9:00 a.m. on the 12th with lunch in Hinton, WV. Will arrive in Dobson approximately 5:00 p.m. Return to Charleston on the 14th via the same route. Online registration is available at http://triumphclub.org/wordpress/. Please contact Charles Justice at cjustice@hpcbd.com for detailed information.
Tech session to occur after the meeting regarding upgrading dash lights to LED. Upcoming tech session at the April meeting by SprayMax Clear Coat products.
Discussion of Venture Lanes by Ken Rubin. There will be a Pistons & Pints at Venture Lanes on Thursday, March 21 at 6:00 p.m. Plenty of soft drinks, beer, food & bowling.
Richard Stephenson discussed a possible drive to Café Cimino Country Inn in Sutton, WV for lunch. Cost would be approximately $21 per person.
Dan Blackwood discussed the upcoming British V8 event in June and the Moss Fest in Petersburg. There was also a brief discussion of the Greenbrier Concours on May 4.
There being no further business, tips were collected for the Golden Corral staff and the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully Submitted,
Charles Justice
