Club Picnic
9/13/25

The club picnic was held at Mallory airport in Charleston, WV. Thanks to Dave Chenoweth for providing the venue and grilling some delicious hamburgers and hot dogs. We had a great turnout and some great food. Everyone had a great time but really, every time we get together we have a great time. See the photos for who was there and what we were doing.

The Great Race 2025
6/26/25

This was a wonderful event and our club gained a lot of positive press. Everything from being recognized in TV news reports to having our banner displayed in front of the Gruv bar on Capitol St. to displaying our cars on Capitol St. to having our president interviewed on TV to great recognition by not only the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau but to hearing a lot of very good things about our club from The Great Race organizers.

We owe a lot of thanks to our member Greg Boles who is on the CCVB board of directors, Tim Brady the President of the CCVB and of course our great president Dave Chenoweth.

We had 14 volunteers. Dave Chenoweth, Bill Michael, Greg Boles, Jimmy Lee, Larry Kopelman, Richard Stephenson, Jamie Chenoweth, Kevin & Teresa Halloran, Jack Sampson, Earl Arentz, Josh Miller, Richard Sinclair and Dave King.

I took quite a few pictures and received videos from others. They are in the gallery below. There are over 300 pictures but I was only able to stand the heat for about half of the cars. I knew that if I
didn't get somewhere and cool down I was going to pass out.

Please enjoy the pictures and if you have some pictures that I can add, please send them to me at bmichael47@gmail.com. While the pictures are showing, if you see one that you are interested in just click on it and it will enlarge. Then you can zoom in or down load that picture.

Again, the club thanks all the people involved, especially the volunteers.

Cars of Bond Show
5/31/25

This was a great event. We partnered with the St. Albans movie night and the food trucks to have the Cars of Bond themed car show. Each of the Bond cars had a sign telling which Bond movie they were in. Nathan Arnette provided lots of Bond memorabilia that was on display in The Tap. Of course non Bond cars were welcome as well.

This was also our monthly Pints & Pistons dinner. This month we were again hosted by club member Tommy Bailey at The Tap.

We had quite a lot of people looking and appreciating our cars.
